Vanderbeck Valley Farm Wedding

I had the opportunity to assist the fabulous Beth Stafford for a few hours at super-awesome Vanderbeck Valley Farm. I'd never photographed a wedding there before, but I hope to be back soon - it's GORGEOUS! The Vanderbecks are super-sweet and you can tell that they really enjoy hosting weddings. The bride's getting ready room is gorgeous, and full of awesome details, like a cute dressing table and vintage hand mirror. The vintage details don't stop there though. "Henry" the truck is adorable, the "Bar" shack is awesome for drinks and for pictures, and the swing in the garden is pretty great too!

Country Farm Backyard Wedding: Kevin & Carly

Carly & Kevin got married on June 24th. Their relaxed, family-centered, country backyard wedding, complete with yard games reflected their thoughtful and adventurous spirits perfectly. I didn't do engagement portraits with Kevin & Carly, so I didn't get a chance to know them as well as I'd like - I didn't even get to meet Kevin until wedding day - but seeing how much Kevin cared about all of the wedding day details and how chivalrous he was with Carly was enough for me to get really excited about their wedding. Congratulations, Kevin & Carly - you two balance each other out perfectly - I can't wait to see what's next in store for you!

Park City Utah Destination Wedding Photographer: Dave & Hillary's Big Day

"We're not photogenic people." ...I hear this statement from SO many of my wedding couples. (Apparently, I love "non-photogenic" people!) It's also usually followed up by a comment about how you're better at silly photos. (I know I LOVE silly couples - you guys are FUN!) I happen to think that Dave & Hillary both did pretty great in their photos, but please feel free to judge for yourselves. And - I included lots of PG rated silliness too - because SILLY IS AWESOME!
