Albany Birthday Session: Charli is Seven

For the past few years, I've been doing a birthday session with each of Tia's kids. This year, for Charli's session, Tia and I came up with all kinds of ideas - a fairy theme, apple orchard theme, ballet, tutus, & sparkles, a farm-themed shoot with barnyard animals - SO MANY ideas! When it came time to run our suggestions by Charli, I couldn't wait to hear what she picked.
She picked....America's Next Top Model.  :) Charli is seven now. The days of Mom and photographer picking out her themes are GONE. So, Charli picked out her favorite outfits, purses, jewelry, shoes, and accessories and it was time for her to rock the runway.
Because Charli is seven, I wanted to keep her modeling theme young and fun. I encouraged her to select her own outfits and accessories and to do her own thing on her runway (she borrowed some items from family members). The only instructions I gave her were to make sure to look at the camera when she got to the end, before she turned around.  :)

Like any younger sibling, little brother Kaden always wants to try out whatever Charli is up to. So we let him walk the runway a couple of times too!

The White Family

Please join me in welcoming home an amazing husband, father, and serviceman.  He spent the past year overseas with The 1186 MP. Needless to say, he's been MISSED.  It was great to see David, snuggling with his wife & goofing off with his kids. I can't think of any other way I would have rather spent my Veteran's Day. White Family, I'm GLAD you're in my life.  You guys are awesome!

WELCOME HOME MSG Master Sergeant David White! Thank you SO much for your service. I know I'm not alone when I say that I'm THRILLED that you're home for the holidays this year! Huge hugs to your family.  I had a blast seeing you all having fun together.  :)
