Salem Family Photographer: Weise Family

When Shelley told me that she had three boys (4 if you count her husband Steve(n) - he's flexible on which one you call him), I was SO excited. I knew our get-together would be anything but boring. They definitely didn't disappoint. Also, this family is ridiculously gorgeous, which didn't hurt either. Thank you, Weise Family, for bringing your fun, crazy energy to our play date! I had so much fun with you all!

Grotto Wedding + Benson Reception: Kyle & Meg

Kyle & Meg are both nurses. And it shows. They're suuuper-caring, sweet, thoughtful, and just REALLY nice to be around. I felt SO lucky to have gotten to know them and to be a part of their wedding.

Let me just say - I LOVE Meg's dress! It's lovely and just perfect for her figure (and her wedding venue, theme, etc). The photo below on the right is of Meg's Mom on her own wedding day. Meg's Mom passed away when Meg was younger. This was just one of several ways that Meg, Kyle, and their families chose to include her and honor her on wedding day.

Meg's mom passed away several years before her wedding. :( The photo she is holding is an image of Meg's mom on her wedding day with her mom (Meg's Grandma). It is one of my favorite photos from the day.

Meg & Kyle put these great composition books on each table so that guests could share stories, advice, & wisdom with them: awesome idea! People wrote some hilarious, inspiring, and touching words for them. And the kids' table contributed some great artwork.

Kyle gifted his groomsmen with pocket watches (lucky groomsmen!).  The little kids couldn't get enough of checking them out.

South Albany High School Senior: Bailey

I had such a good time adventuring in Portland with Bailey & her mom! I got to shoot at some locations that I've been really wanting to try out for awhile, so that was awesome. And Bailey & her mom were so sweet and they totally braved the rain with me and didn't complain at all! :)
