Sexy at Home: Military Boudoir

This session was FUN! Don't get me wrong - most of my sessions are pretty dang fun. But we had such a good time being creative and goofy (and I was in extra need of fun) - it was an extra good day! 
This was the first time I've ever gone to a client's home (yes, we did some outside pix too, of course!) for an intimate portraiture session. It definitely won't be my last.

Athough I'm usually not actually around for the "packing/outfit selection" portion of the session, I can tell it's a big project. I'm always around for the unpacking (so fun)! Almost every single time, my clients forget something. It's never a crisis, but it's always slightly annoying (for them, not for me). This was NOT an issue at this session! HANDY! As an added bonus for me, Mz. B let me help with some of the final choices on wardrobe, which totally made my day.  :)

Mz. B's man enjoys a good video game (so does mine). So, when she mentioned doing something with his headset (she may have actually been joking) - I was ALL about it! :) It ended up being one of my favorites from the shoot.  :)

As we were doing the kitchen photos (below), I realized that Mz. B and her man would probably never look at their kitchen quite the same again. It just got WAY sexier.

Military Wives! (Intimate Portraiture Party)

Awhile back, I received a message that ended up really changing my business plan for Emily Hall Photography. A client of mine (who is a military wife) wanted my help with a Valentine's Day gift to send to her husband, who is currently deployed overseas. ...and she had about 15 other military wives who wanted to do the same thing.  :)

I was honest about the fact that I didn't have much experience in intimate portraiture. She melted my heart and totally sold me by saying that I always made her feel comfortable in front of the camera. I threw caution to the wind and agreed to give it a try.

I'm SO glad I did.  This experience and these women changed my life. 

These ladies ROCKED their sessions.  They were patient, fun, & kind. Each women left her comfort zone behind to give her husband a gift that would help bridge the distance.

There are SO many different ways to show off your unique brand of sexy.  I LOVED the personality and variety that each of these women brought to their sessions.  I left this event in a haze of sleepy happiness. I had no idea that there was more awesomeness to come.

Although I LOVED this shoot, possibly the best thing about it were the reactions to the photos. I knew I'd be helping with Valentine's presents.  What I didn't realize beforehand was that I got to help show these women how dang smokin' sexy hot they are. 

From the photos, it's pretty dang obvious, but - believe it or not - some of these ladies didn't know just how GORGEOUS they were before this.

Take a moment and spend some quality time with your sexy self.  YOU deserve it.
